Well friends, the summer has arrived and that means it is time to get the kids outside! MCPARC is once again offering our great Summer Playground Program for the kids and the community of Fairmont and the Marion County area. This program serves as a great opportunity to get kids active and engaged in the outdoors! While taking part in our playground program, your child will be able to engage themselves in all sorts of games, crafts, interactive activities, and they will also have the opportunity to learn from guest speakers. Children that range from age six to twelve are invited to participate in this program. The playground sites that will be used this summer include the Barrackville School, Fairview Community Building, Farmington Community Building, Hough Park, Unity Terrace Community Center, Montana Mines Community Building, Wind Mill Park, and Jayene. While participating in our Summer Playground Program, the children will be provided a daily nutritional lunch that follows the guidelines of the Marion County Schools system. The program will run from June 14th to July 23rd, five days a week from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M with the exceptions of the Fairview Community Building only operating on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M., Jayene only operating from 1:30 P.M. until 5:00 P.M., and Unity Terrace only operating from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
