Join Marion County Parks and Recreation and long time supervisor Mel Coleman, at East Marion Park for this year's Day Camp program!

Every day, kids will enjoy playing in the park, visiting the pools, playground games, educational activities, arts and crafts, field trips, guest speakers, and much more! Lunch and snack are provided by the Marion County Board of Education.

REGISTER: Registration will open for MCPARC’s Summer Day Camp program on May 15th.  Forms can be downloaded here or can be picked up at our office. You can also request a registration form by emailing [email protected]. To protect information about your child's identity and health, please do not email this form to MCPARC.   1. What is the cost of this program?
    $16.00 per child, per day  NOTE:  discounts are given for payment in advance of multiple days.  Please call the office for pricing.
  2. How do I pay?
    Payment may be mailed or dropped off to the MCPARC office or you may pay the first day of camp. We accept cash, check and credit/debit cards.  Note:  credit cards are only accepted at the office or on-line.
  3. How early can I drop off my child?
    7:30am    
  4. How late can I pick up my child?
    5:30pm. There will be a $3.00 per hour charge after 3:30pm
  5. What should I pack for my child?
    A change of clothes, swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, any necessary medications.
  6. How will I receive notification if the program is cancelled for the day?
    Follow MCPARC on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
  7. What time is lunch and snack?
    Lunch is at 11:30am and snack is at 2:30pm.
  8. Can my child bring their own food?
    Yes! Children are permitted to bring their own lunch and snack, just notify staff.
  9. What are the age requirements?​
          Youth ages 6-13 are able to participate in this program.
