Effective October 1, 2024, MCPARC has moved to an on-line reservation program.  Please visit: https://mcparc.recdesk.com to make a facility reservation.  You will be required to create an account for your reservation.  Available rental facilities are listed below. The new on-line system utilizes a calendar system for your convenience to check facility availability.

Payment is required to finalize your reservation. ​Online payment can be made in the new system.   If you need to pay by check, cash or money order, please create your on-line account and confirm that the date you are interested in is available and then stop by the office to make payment prior to your on-line reservation or mail in your payment after your account is created and before you go on-line to reserve a facility.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Written notice of cancellation of any rental given prior to thirty (30) days is eligible for a refund of 75%.  A 25% cancellation charge applies. 
No refunds will be given 30 days or less before the reservation.
We do not offer rain checks/refunds for weather. This includes for reservations for pool parties.

MCPARC reserves the right to charge a $100 cleaning fee if necessary.                                
Groups under 21 years of age must provide one chaperone (parent, sponsor, or teacher) for every 15 persons under 21.
Animals are NOT permitted entry into any building on Marion County Parks and Recreation Commission (MCPARC) property except for service animals.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited on premises without a permit.  Request a permit at no charge (beer and wine only) when making your reservation.
 Events charging admission or profit-making ventures require permission from the MCPARC Director. Insurance required.
Central Terrace at East Marion Park (next to playground) | Fairmont, WV
  • Gazebo Rental  |  $75/day
    The gazebo is available for rental year round but there is no bathroom access January through April and November through December.
  • Central Terrace Building Rental  |  $125/day
    The Central Terrace building can be rented for a bridal party, is the perfect size for a quaint special event, or a child's birthday party at the playground.  It is equipped with a nice bathroom and vanity area, has seating up to 40 people, and has two garage doors on each side opening up to either the central terrace gazebo area or the playground. The Central Terrace building is available for rental April 1 through October 31 with limited rental during the weeks of our MCPARC Day Camp program. When camp is in session the building is available for rental only on Saturdays and Sundays. Summer 2026 camps dates:  June 15- July 24.
  • Decorations and chairs shown in the photo are not included in the rental. Eight 6 foot round tables and 40 chairs are included in the building.

East Marion Park Pavilions  |  Fairmont, WV
  • Pavilion 1  |  $270.00
    The largest pavilion, Pavilion 1 has its own kitchen, restroom facilities, basketball court, and parking. This facility can seat up to 250 people comfortably and provides picnic tables, electricity, water, and grills.
  • Pavilion 2  |  $180.00    
    The second largest pavilion, Pavilion 2 is surrounded by a deck. This pavilion is close to the pool and restrooms, has water, electricity, and grills, with seating for 120 people.
  • Pavilion 3  |  $80.00    
    Near two volleyball courts and public restrooms, Pavilion 3 has parking, water, electricity, and grills with seating for 45 people.
  • Pavilion 4  |  $80.00    
    Near pavilion 3, Pavilion 4 has volleyball courts and public restrooms nearby with water, electricity and grill, and seating for 45 people.
  • Pavilion 5  |  $50.00    
    Between the horseshoe pits and basketball courts, with seating for 30 people, Pavilion 5 has picnic tables, electricity, water, and grills.
  • Pavilion 6  |  $80.00    
    Located between tennis courts with public restrooms and a small playground nearby, Pavilion 6 has seating for 45 people along with picnic tables, electricity, water, and grills.
  • Band Stand  |  $30.00    
    This small band stand has no electric, water, or grill.
  • Police Reserve Building  |  $160.00 (full day)
    Located above the wave pool is an enclosed building with restrooms, kitchen, heating, air conditioning and is handicap accessible. It is an excellent facility for reunions, receptions, dances, or other recreational activities.  This building is available year round.  The room is 24 ft. by 32 ft.  There is a back room where the tables and chairs are stored - 30 eight foot tables with seating for @120.  The bathroom is also handicap accessible.  The kitchen has sink, stove (commercial style), refrigerator and microwave.  There are no pots & pans, utensils, dishes, etc. you must bring everything you need for your event. The renting party is responsible for the setting up and tearing down of all tables and chairs used.

          This pavilion has picnic tables, attached restrooms, electricity, and a grill. The pavilion can be reserved during park hours.               Additionally, the pavilion is included with the whole facility rental which is available for Saturday evenings from
            5:00 pm - 8:00 pm $50/hour.
