Bus trip information for the 2025 season is listed below, and can also be found on our facebook page.  There is a link to make on-line payments further down on this page or you can call into the office to make a payment, stop in the office or pay by mail.
March 8 - Stonewall Jackson Murder Mystery
Gather your crime-junkie friends and join us for a bus trip to Stonewall Resort for an evening of detective work to solve this exciting, hard-hitting mystery. "Prohibition Murder" - Chicago Mayor "Big Bill" Thomas, an advocate for prohibition, is secretly attending a local SpeakEasy to celebrate a new city government contract.  His enemies have tracked him to Kitty Malone's to kill him?  The show will be from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, table seating is communal.

  • Cost for the trip is $99.00 per person and includes the round-trip bus ride, dinner and show.
  • Payment in full must be made by February 14, 2025.

April 5 - Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens /National Aviary
Spring is here!  Take a trip with MCPARC to Pittsburgh, PA to Phipps’s Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Each room is dedicated to a different signature spring bloom in this year’s edition Spring Flower Show. It will provide the burst of color and fragrance you’ve been missing all winter long. See stunning seasonal bloom, from tulips to pansies, lilies and more. You will get to appreciate the beauty and unique details of each flower.

Our next stop will be at the National Aviary. Enjoy an amazing collection of more than 500 exotic and endangered birds from nearly every continent. Walk through large habitats where birds fly freely, including tropical rainforest, wetlands, and grasslands. See sloths, owls and penguins, the impressive wingspan of giant condors, feeding time for rainbow lorikeets and the majestic hall of eagles. We will attend the live immersive bird show; birds will fly, strut and glide right by the audience, accompanied by dramatic video, theatrical lighting and thrilling music.

  • The cost for this trip is $115.00 per person and will include; the roundtrip bus ride, guided tour of Phipps’s Conservatory, a box lunch, exploring, and immersive bird show at the National Aviary.
  • A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 to reserve your spot is due at the time of your reservation. The balance in full will be due March 5, 2025.
  • The bus will leave East Marion Wave Pool Parking lot at 7:15 am on Saturday April 5, 2025. The return ETA is 5:30 pm.
May 10 - Falling Water /Nemacolin /The Christmas Shoppe
Join MCPARC for a trip to Fallingwater in the mountains of Southwestern PA in the town of Mill Run. Fallingwater is a house designed by American Architect Frank Lloyd Wright.  It is one of his most widely acclaimed works and best exemplifies his philosophy of organic architecture: the harmonious union of art and nature. Wright designed Fallingwater to rise above the waterfall over which it is built.

The casino at Nemacolin – Take your pick from 500 of the latest and greatest slot machines, along with keno, video poker and table games. Enjoy time on your own at the casino and get your lunch of choice at the Royale located in the casino.  They have many options of delectable classics from land and sea in addition to pub style appetizers, sandwiches and sides.

​The Christmas Shop and Downer House Antiques,  Chalk Hill, PA.  Come on in it’s MAGICAL inside!  Everything Christmas and other shops.

  • The cost for this trip is $89.00 per person and will include the roundtrip bus ride, guided tour at Fallingwater, afternoon at Nemacolin Casino and lunch on your own and shopping at the Christmas Shop and village.

  • The bus will leave the East Marion Wave Pool parking lot at 8:00 am on Saturday May 10, 2025. Return ETA is 6:00 pm.
May 31 - Sight and Sound Theater

Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster, PA presents – NOAH live on stage! 
With a catastrophic storm on its way, Noah is given a monumental task: build a boat big enough to save his family from a flood that will cover the entire earth. 

Returning for one season only, this landmark production takes you on board one of the world’s best-known voyages as live animals fill the stage and aisles. Set sail inside the enormous ark as this story comes to life. 

All you can eat smorgasbord for their grand favorites at Hershey Farm Restaurant. 

MCPARC invites you to join us for a trip to the Sight and Sound Theater and Hershey Farm Restaurant! The cost for this trip is $215.00 for a child, $250 for an adult and will include the roundtrip bus ride, box lunch on the bus, the presentation of Noah – Live on stage, and a smorgasbord dinner at Hershey Farms. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 to reserve your spot is due at the time of your reservation. The balance in full will be due on April 18, 2025.

The bus will leave the East Marion Wave Pool parking lot at 8:30 am on Saturday May 31, 2025. The return ETA is 12:30 am. 
July 4 - Gateway Clipper Dinner and Fireworks
​ Holiday Dinner Cruise, Tour and Fireworks!

Join MCPARC to celebrate the 4th of July out on the water in Pittsburgh, PA. A great place to spend Independence Day aboard one of the Gateway Clipper Riverboats. Sit back, relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of July 4th on the Three Rivers! Featuring the fantastic Independence Day Buffet, music, dancing and a fabulous view of the fireworks! 
  • Buffet dinner will be available upon boarding. The food will remain available for 30 minutes after sailing. 
  • A full-service bar is available on board. No cash– Credit/debit cards only 
  • A photo team will capture a boarding picture you can purchase if you choose to. 
  • The cruise also features DJ Entertainment, brief narration, and the most beautiful city skyline in the USA with fireworks after sunset. 

The cost for this trip is $165.00 per person and will include; the round-trip bus ride, dinner buffet, sight seeing tour, music and fireworks all aboard the riverboat. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 will be required to hold your spot for this popular trip at the time of your reservation. The balance in full will be due by May 23, 2025. 
The bus will leave the East Marion Wave Pool Parking lot at 4:30 pm on Saturday July 4, 2025. The return ETA is 12:00 midnight. 
July 12 - Murder Mystery Dinner Cruise
Join MCPARC for a fun evening aboard The Valley Gem’s Murder Mystery Dinner Cruise in Marietta, Ohio. Enjoy a Captain’s Buffet as passengers try to solve a murder happening around them. Passengers who guess correctly will be put in a drawing for a prize!  Put your detective skills to the test. And you’ll never know who will be next…

The cost for this trip is $99.00 and will include the round-trip bus ride, dinner and the show. A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 to reserve your spot is due at the time of your reservation. The balance in full will be due on June 12, 2025.

October 4 - Tracks and Yaks
MCPARC is taking an exciting new adventure to ride the railbikes with Tracks and Yaks. Depart from the beautiful and historic Frostburg Depot. Pedal and coast (mostly coast) alongside the Great Allegheny Passage along the mountain ridge, through Brush Tunnel and lean into Helmstetter’s curve. Enjoying the view of the colorful mountain leaves on this ride in October. This ride is suitable for all ages and abilities. It is a ride with a slight continuous downhill grade. As long as you can sit stable in your seat with a back and one person on your 4 person cart can pedal some you’ll get to where you need to go! Rail biking is not physically strenuous, it has been said that the hardest part is getting on your cart. So sit back, enjoy and appreciate the spectacular mountain views and railroad history as you coast by. 

The cost for this trip is $125.00 per person and will include the round-trip bus ride, exciting ride on the railbikes, and dinner buffet at Penn Alps Restaurant. A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot at the time of your reservation. The balance in full will be due by August 22, 2025. 

The bus will leave from the East Marion Wave Pool parking lot at 12:15 pm on Saturday October 4, 2025. Return ETA is 9:00 pm. ​
December 7 - Olgebay Dinner Show and Lights
​Join MCPARC for the Oglebay Holiday Dinner Show. A lively heartwarming show features songs and stories as told by talented, professional performers from all around the country. Hear new arrangements of holiday classics and some old favorites, too. Don’t miss the ringing, singing, and storytelling that will put you in the happiest of holiday spirits while enjoying a delicious holiday meal! After the show an Oglebay guide will hop on our bus to provide a guided tour of all the holiday lights of Oglebay. 

The cost for this trip is $125.00 per person and will include the round-trip bus ride, holiday dinner, holiday show, guided lights tour and time to browse the gift shops. 

A non-refundable $50.00 deposit is required to hold your spot at the time of your reservation. The balance in full will be due by November 7, 2025.

The bus will leave from the East Marion Wave Pool parking lot at 2:00 pm on December 7, 2025. Return ETA is 10:30 pm.

General Trip Information

Our goal is to offer the best trips at the best prices.
  • If you are interested, we need to hear from you as soon as possible for reservations to ensure that we have enough for the trip.  Most trips have early deadlines for deposits.
  • If we do not have enough interested, we have to cancel and you will receive a full refund.
  • DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE! (unless the trip is canceled)

Deposits and Payments
  • Non-refundable deposits will be required on all trips at the time the reservation is made.
  • One-day trips deposit will be $50.00 per person.
  • Multi-day trips with a fee of up to $500, the deposit will be $100.00.
  • For trips with a fee of more than $500.00, a 25% deposit is required.
  • Balance due must be paid 30 days prior to the trip.  There will be no refunds after this date.
  • Payments on any trip can be made in installments.

Travel Information
  • Luggage tags will be mailed to you for overnight trips, and tagged luggage will be stored under the bus.
  • Buses leave from the East Marion Wave Pool parking lot.
  • Trips may be canceled if minimum number of people is not reached.
